Marie Sullivan OAM
Marie holds a Master of Arts in English Literature and Drama from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales. In 2012 she was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia, OAM, in the Australia Day Honours List for services to the community.
In 2015 she established ClearPath Navigating Family Law, www.navigatingfl.com.au, a trauma-informed service that assists people remain resilient in the face of complex family law matters. She has published extensively including a memoir entitled Wrestling with Clouds.
Like Hilary, Marie is a devotee of Africa and her beautiful, inspiring and resilient animals, having been privileged to travel there a number of times.
Hilary, really a philosopher and a poet, has been masquerading as a lawyer for most of her working life. As well as law degrees she has a Graduate Diploma in Professional Writing from Deakin University.
Hilary is also a director of Destinations Africa for which she regularly writes articles and blogs (see www.destinationsafrica.com.au). Hilary enjoys taking photographs when on her many trips to Africa including most of those appearing in these books.
Marie and Hilary have each endured and overcome health, personal and career challenges which have informed and inspired their writing these beautiful books for you and sharing the wisdom they hold.
